I found an old, brown beer bottle in the wall of my house. The name on is either HUELNER or HUEBNER and was made in Toledo, OH. No date on bottle. On the bottom of the bottle it says"pure and without drugs or poison." It's in excellent shape-no chips or cracks. If you have any info on the brewery, please e-mail me. Thank you!

Looking for any type of breweriana on an old local brewery that was located in Brazil (Clay) IN. Specifically looking for one of the bottles that was used at this brewery that had the letters 'MLM' embossed into the bottom of the bottle. Name of the brewery was thought to have been simply, 'Brazil Brewery'. Dates of operation would have probably been around the turn of the century (1890 - 1900s). Would definitely be interested in any other type of information relating to the history of this particular brewery.

I have a question. I have a set of porcelain plates that came from the Anheuser-busch family. These aren't plates that where sold as collecters items but ones that where used in the Busch household. They do have the family crest on them so I believe that they are authentic.I recieved them from a household worker that retired years ago from their estates. I have looked all over E-bay and tried searches all over the internet and cant find any info on them whatsoever. I would like to put them up for auction, but I would like to have an idea as to there value before I list them. Do you have a source or a web-site that I can go to , to get some further info? Any help would be Extremely appreciated. MrNexis@aol.com Nexis

I am a Dr. Seuss researcher/collector. I have four different items from the Narragansett brewery for which Seuss did illustrations: a beer tray, coasters, menu insert, and a poster. However, none of these items carry a copyright date. Does anyone out there know a source from which I can definitively date these items? I've seen them attributed to the '30s, '40s, '50s, and '60s, and never a specific year. My research requires accuracy and I would greatly appreciate any help from those who are more knowledgeable about breweriana than I. Thanks!

My fiance and I saw a beer sign in the Bahamas and have been looking for one like it ever since. I think it was for Miller Lite and it was a back-lit box with a rotating picture. It had everything from Airplanes dragging Miller Lite signs, to a scene where Miller Lite was written in the clouds. Has anyone seen a sign like this or know where I might find one?

They are a Pabst BLue Ribbon hanging light, a strohs beer "from one beer lover to another" mirror, a Lowenbrau mirror, a strohs beer sign and light "welcome aboard beer lovers", and a miller high life mirror. Please see this auction currently on eBay! Anheuser Busch Beer Sign Check the seller list for woodpaul or go to the link listed below. This fabulous Mirrored, Lighted and Reverse Painted Sign is approx 18" diameter and has not seen the light of day for many many years. Fresh out of an attic in an old Restaurant, it is in near MINT CONDITION! *** I found a similar, but smaller sign for Budweiser Beer in the Anheuser-Busch collectibles book with no date mentioned, but I believe this dates to the 30's just after prohibition or maybe just before and that may be why it was in the attic? And I am being conservative when I say "near MINT". It takes a regular light bulb and has just been rewired and is ready to plug in. This was an exterior sign and has a bracket for mounting on a pole. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=332310450

Hi!! I'm trying to locate bar ware made around 1880 by an American Glass company called Riverside Glass Works of Wellsburg WV. They made a special beer mug using a process called the "crystallograph process" that was described as "a very handsome pattern, uniquely decorated." That's the only description I have of the mug. My wife claims her great grandfather, Adam Collinge, founded a brewery in Hudson, New York, between 1820-1850. Later, he sold the company putatively to Peter Ballantine (of Ballatine's Ale and India Pale Ale fame) in Newark, New Jersey before World War 2. I do not know how the brewery got from Hudson to Newark. Does anyone have any information about Adam Collinge? Thanks, Norman Staub

I have a Tennent bottle that looks like it might be made out of white clay. It is beige and the top part is brown. It is also very heavy. It has the word TENNENT and the letter T on the front, in bluish ink, (possibly stenciled). And on the back stamped into the clay is FISSIL or FOSSIL POTTERS, the number 9 and GLASGOW in a small 1/2" x 1" oval. Does anyone know about this bottle? It was given to me from my father and I would like to know anything about it. I think it was made in Scotland. But, I would like to know if it is a newer bottle or not. I have searched other sights with no luck. Thank you-much appreciated!!

I am looking for an Anheuser Busch stein that I think is the 3rd and last in the series of the Holiday through the Decades series. One of the pictures it shows is from the Saturday Evening Post and it is a picture of the Court House Square in Delhi, NY. I would appreciate any information you could give me on this and if you know of a place where I could purchase one.

I have a painting which hung in the Falstaff Corporate Headquarters building in St. Louis. The artist is Lloyd Jones. It is a watercolor (I think). The scene is a square dance with the Falstaff shield visible, circa 1950. I am especially interested in information on the artist or where I might inquire about him.
