Budweiser "King of Beers" Light. Measures 72" long x 19" high x 12" deep, has a 3" thick wood base on back, with an acrylic dome front that houses a beautiful full scale model of the Clydesdale team with beer wagon, with two drivers and their Dalmation mascot. The sign has back lighting that shows off the entire model. It is truly a work of art and conversation piece. My late father had it in his bar, and I am selling it for my mother. I have had it appraised at $2500, I am asking best offer and taking bids. We will ship anywhere within the 49 states. You can email me at: mamalucy@adelphia.net,if you are interested I can send you some pictures. Thanks, Mary L. Smith

Hello Fellow Brewmania enthusiasts: I have had an ad prior to this one, Trying to sell an antique Budweiser Light, I had it sold, and then the purchaser turned out to be a fraud, good thing I didn't ship it yet! Teaches me a lesson, I was VERY precautious. Anyways it is up for grabs again, Budweiser sign, wood base, 72" long x 19" tall x 12" deep, has an acyrlic encased full scale model of the clydesdale horses pulling a beer wagon, with 2 drivers and their dalmation mascot to boot. Has a pull chain light on bottom. It is in beautiful condition, it was my late father's pride and joy, and I will guard it with my life, til I get a real true blue honest person to take it off my hands. Beware! If you are interested let me know, I will email you with a picture. I have had it appraised at $2500, In the last ad I had a bid for the following, $1100, $1300, $1500, $2000., $2500, & $2900, If you were one of these, I will try to contact you of it's availability. Thank you for your interest, and be careful out there. Mary L. Smith

I am looking for some information on an embossed beer bottle. The bottle is brown glass, and the only identifying marks on it are Oertels, at the base of the neck on one side, as the body of the bottle starts, and on the other side of the bottle in the same area it says Louisville KY. There is nothing else on the bottle, and nothing on the bottom of it either. I would like to find out about how old this bottle is and about what it would be worth as a collectors item. I am trying to determine the value of a hop certificate which was found in my grandfather's basement along with a number of Red Top items. Was curious if anyone in the know could give me a rough estimate of its value. It is a 1938 dated Czech hop certificate which was associated with a shipment of 15 bales of Saazer hops delivered to the Clyffside Brewery. The certificate is framed with an old caption stating that it was the last shipment of hops from Saazer before the invasion by Germany. I'm not sure if there is a collector market for such a thing but would like to hear any opinions if you have them. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Strykersville, a very rural area in Wyoming Co. New York had a brewery built in 1885. It was the Frank Glaser Brewery, or Strykersville Hotel and Brewery. It burned Aug. 13, 1910, before prohibition. The Town of Sheldon Hist. Soc. is trying to do research on small breweries in that era. There was an underground cellar, we have pictures of oak barrels with a tap. It was a very popular spot, they peddled beer to various towns, some overnight with horse and beer wagen. I would appreciate any help. This was owned by George and Peter Metzger, and Was also the Demonjot brewery in mid 1800's. What ind of eqipment would they have possibly used. And food that would have been served. Mar

Just a reminder that our spring refresh of www.yeoldebrew.com has been completed. On the site you'll find an eclectic mix of vintage advertising with an emphasis on breweriana from pre pro to about the mid 1950s. We specialize in signage – we don’t have much in the way of bottle caps, cans, labels, openers or other small items. And we especially focus on items that tend to be uncommon even leaning towards rare. So if you’re looking for a particular sign, type of sign, brewery or something else, please give us a look. Also, please keep in mind that what you see on the site only represents a fraction of our inventory – so even if you don’t see something but you have a well-defined interest, please share that with us and we’ll be happy to let you know what we might have that might strike your fancy. As always, we’re also happy to answer questions about breweriana or breweries or anything advertising-related as best we can.

I am looking for a Lucky Lager beer ad circa 1943-45 which features a young actress Helen Talbot who later worked with Don "Red" Barry at Republic. She is dressed in cowgirl hat and vest and I think wrist cuffs and is holding up a bottle of LuckY Lager. This was taken by photographer Paul Hesse and was used on many billboards through California. I would be satisfied if I could just find a photo that might have appeared in the newspaper. She is not identified, but was a pretty blonde with a big smile. Any help at all at finding this ad would be appreciated since I have had no luck so far on the Internet.

Information wanted on an Olympia Light Beer Clock...The clock is electric and still works well; has a gold horshoe on left with the words "Good Luck" on the top; the horseshoe surrounds a waterfall scene, that when lighted the waterfall appears to be moving; the background color is a light turquoise, with black plastic top and bottom; bottom frame says "its the water"; made by the Thomas Schulz Company of Illinois. This clock is in great condition, no scratches or cracks.. its actually a pretty cool clock but it doesnt go with my decor... Any idea when this was made or what it's value might be??

I'm looking for a photo or etching of some structures at 10th and Market that were once part of Market Street Brewery . At one time, it would have been the biggest brewery in New Albany, Indiana in the 1880s - Market Street Brewery - so I really think something is out there somewhere. Other names to look for would be National Brewery, Enterprise Brewery, or New Albany Brewing Company. The site ceased to be a brewery in 1890, but was an ice factory (Nevian) for a while after that. Any info would be great.

Hi, I have one unopened bottle to Ballantine Burton Ale. It was brewed on May 12, 1946, bottled in November, 1965. The bottle was personalized for a family friend who I think used to be a salesman for Ballantine. Is there any value other than my own sentimental values for this beer?

You stumbled upon these ads because you have a beer related object that you know nothing about...right?You tell yourself "There HAS to be someone out there that cares about this and would pay me a fair price and display and appreciate my can/sign/tap/bottle/case/etc"

I've been at it almost 30 years, and if I don't have it,I'll pay you a fair (if not "too much")price for it.If I do have it,I know lots of people that might want it.I'm an email or phone call away-ask for Barry the beerguy.

This question is sort of related to beer history. I have in my possession my great grandfathers moonshine still which he used back in the 1930's. It is a cylindrical copper can/drum with a copper cone top that is threaded to allow the attachment of a pipe which connects to the coil (I also have that). The only thing missing is the stone furnace-- although I'm told they used a gas burner and I have that as well. It is hard for me to estimate a value for something like this. The rarity of such an item and the copper/copperwork makes me think it should have some kind of value. Can anyone help me on this question? Thank you for your opinions!

I have a lead crystal bowl with the Stroh's Lion design engraved in the bottom of the bowl. It is sign by the company or artist and numbered. I can't make out the name. Perhaps late 1970's I was given this as a gift from a Stroh's Beer Wholesale Owner in Michigan. Does anyone know anything about this bowl or what the price range might be.

A friend has a large porcelain Budweiser 8 horse hitch with beer wagon that is beautiful. It fills one whole shelf of a china cabinet. Her husband purchased this years ago. I have tried to research it to find out it's value. All the horses are separate figures plus the beer wagon with figures on top. I am guessing the horses measure 9 inches long and the wagon larger. These look like porcelain. I have found a set made by Metlox that is similar. Those were commissioned by Anheuser-Bush Co. exclusively for use as an advertising display piece and as a gift for valued company employees. The set my friend has is much nicer then these even. Does any one know any thing about the history of this beautiful set and it's value?

I have an old Miller High Life Cooler from the 50 's or 60's era. It;s white with the red logo. Beneath the logo it reads: "The champagne of bottled beers" then it reads: Miller Brewing Co Milwaukee Wisc. USA F-405,013. The inside cover says "Quality Cromstons Service". It is in good shape with a couple scratches. It also has an "Alcoa" aluminaum sticker on the inside still in great shape. Any one know what this could be worth? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I am seeking opinions on value of an item I have. My grandfather was an employee of the Red Top Brewery in Cincinnati in the 40's and 50's. We have tons of items from RT. One of them is an (electric) sign which resembles a small TV set. The Red Top logo lights up and changes colors. Overall it is in fine condition and fully functional. I realize that it would bring more $$ locally than elsewhere but was curious if any of you pros could give me a rough estimate. Thank you for your time and assistance!

I emailed Schell/Grain Belt Brewing Co. about a large picture I have. They didn't know anything about it but thought you might know. It is a large print with Sea-biscuit, Whirl A way, and Man O'War on it. In the bottom left hand corner there is a printed note that says printed with the permission of the owners of the horses with each owners name spelled out. In the bottom right hand corner it looks like a penciled signature. At the bottom in the middle there is a yellow ribbon with a red oblong diamond shape with Grain Belt Beer in the middle and the whole thing sits on top of a bottle cap. My father found this picture in an old barn long before I was born. I can't find a date on it. The frame looks normal on the front but the whole thing is covered on the back with painted plywood so I don't know if there is anything else on it. I would appreciate anything you could tell me. Thank you for your time. Lori

We have a 1988 Dodge full sized Olympia beer delivery van that I purchased from a distributor and have since worked at converting it into a camper van. We are considering selling it as we have taken it in a parade and had fun with it and no longer use it much. Is there a market out there for this? It is repainted, complete with the Olympia Beer logos and has a couch that converts to a bed, carpeted floor, microwave, small refrig. electric converter. It runs well and it current on registration etc. It needs more work but is good looking as is and is safe on the road, good brakes etc. If anyone out there is interested let me know. Thanks

It was an antique at that time, but I have no idea how old it is or its history. I would love to know more about its history. Any ideas out there on how to learn more about such an item??? I have never seen another Miller High Life lighted San Francisco sign like the one that I am selling on craigslist. I even looked on eBay's completed listings and couldn't find it. It is beautifully bright with vivid colors and measures a large 1 foot 7.75 inches by 1 foot 3 inches. It is lit by a fluorescent bulb and works perfectly. I am not sure how old it is, but I bought it used about 20 years ago. Can anyone give me any more info about this sign or the value of it? You can see a picture of it at http://www.craigslist.org/eby/for/132709472.html ... it is the second sign down in the listing. Any help is greatly appreciated. -John........

You've been searching for over an hour, and although you've found a lot of beer stuff, you haven't found that:

a.)sign that Grandpa left you

b.)how much the unrolled beer can sheets you have are worth,or

c.)anything about how old your beer item is and where it may have come from...

"If only I could find someone that collects this stuff!"you say, while looking skyward in frustration.Look no more-if you have a can, sign, tapknob, glass, tray, label or bottlecap (or...a hundred of them)that doesn't hold any value to you,I'm an email away.

If I don't have it,I'll pay you well for it.If I want it,I'll pay you too much!

I have a Miller beer electric sign that needs some work. It is the kind that had the "bouncing" colored lights. The colors are on a belt inside and it keeps sticking. I cannot tell if the rollers are sticking or if it might be the motor. Can't tell if it may just need oil, but i see no place to add a drop or two. No tell-tale oil marks either. If anyone has any idea on how to fix it or someplace that repairs these signs, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone would know the value of an old Kato Beer picture that was found in an old farm house. It measures 17x22, was painted by Geo. Hinks and the title of it is, A Typical Minnesota Scene, which is located on the bottem left corner. It depicts a hunting scene where the hunters are drinking bottles of Kato Beer. Any information for this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello i was curious to know if there is anyone out there that can give me some information about a brown short beer bottle that was made in France and is an Anheuser-Busch product. It is interesting because it has a Budwieser label but instead of saying "Budwieser" it says "Busch" and the cap in a Busch cap. I acquire this through a guy that retired from Anheuser-Busch quit some time ago he gave it to me when i was 16 im now 30 but he said that when im ready to go to college this bottle will pay my way. He worked in the area that kept all of this kind of stuff my father informed me of this just recently Because of the miss printed lable I was young and just thought this guy was crazy. Now though im curious to know. Is there anyone out there who can give me some insight.

FRANKENMUTH DACHSHUND BALL KNOB - Here's your chance to make an offer before it hits ebay. I would prefer it stayed in Michigan before it goes there. This knob is in excellent condition and I will also throw in the keg tap that it came on. Condition is great and it features the little dog "Schotzie", "Doxie" or "Frankie". Not real sure who the model was. Any hoo, I know that this is a knob that will bring a good minimum. all offers will be in strict confidence. If it does meet my FAIR expectations, all will be made aware and it will go to ebay on February 1, 2006. I will also be listing pre pro items from Detroit Brewing Co., Grand Rapids (Silverfoam), Stroh, and Seattle Brewing and Malting Co. (Ranier). Thanks everyone for checking this out! "THE BACK BAR" will make its sixth semi-annual run next month at the 5th annual "BLUE GRAY SHOW" in Fredericksburg, VA. This display will feature some of the best lighted breweriana from the 1930s, 40s and early 50s. This is a whole new arrangement of 27 lighted signs, clocks, lamps and neons (including several Gillco items) that have been selected from the collections of sixteen participants from numerous states. Some of these items will even be offered for sale or trade. Also on display will be some very rare cones, flats, knobs, coasters, scrapers and many other go-withs. In addition, a custom compilation of 250 original Dixieland, Swing, Blues and Jazz recordings from the Big Band Era of the 1930s and 40s will play while the display is running. If you haven’t experienced THE BACK BAR yet, you don’t know what you’ve been missing; just ask anyone who has seen it. To see color photos and articles about previous displays and participants, see "The Back Bar" column in NABA's "Breweriana Collector" #131 pg. 30, #130 pg. 22, and #129 pg. 32; or ECBA's "The Keg" Spring 2004 pg. 3, or Summer 2005 page 4. The display will run from Thursday to Saturday, Feb. 16th to 18th at the Ramada Inn, 5324 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA. From I-95 southbound, take exit 126; or from I-95 northbound, take exit #126A; then go north on U.S. 1 for two-tenths of a mile. The hotel will be on your right). Don't stay home, come on out to the show and add something new to your collection! I have only two spots in the display left to fill. If you have an item that you want to put in the display, e-mail me, or call me at 718-357-6310.

I am wondering if anyone knows the value of an envelope from the Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which has a postmark from 1918. On the bacl of the envelope it has a print of the plant, steam engines passing by, horse and bugging going by and many other features. Rare find as it was given to me from a family member. I hope someone can direct me in the right direction at least. Thanks for reading my post and hope to hear from someone soon.

OLD FOAMS HOME HAS OPENINGS for YOUR elderly BEER STUFF

There comes a time where you realize that your old beer advertising isn't being admired, displayed and may even have cleanliness issues and doesn't work the way it used to.Face it,you don't really care about it much and if you could mail it to a place that would send you CASH for it,you would.

But who...where...how??

Theres a warm and loving environment in Minnesota that treats old breweriana with love and respect. In fact-the older it is,the more love and respect we'll give it!Our staff has 25+ years of caring for the senior brewcitizens that sit in your basement.(and due to downsizing,we have wall space to fill...RIGHT NOW)

In addition to cash,we can email you pictures of your items to show how they are thriving in their new home,if you'd like.Think about it-your beer items deserve better.Big or small,we take them all.Email a description today-we care.

Would anyone happen to have a picture or an example of a "Danish Brewer's Wreath"? I have seen an example in a brewpub before but was looking for something to make an example from. Going from memory, it was a wreath made from carved wood which was connected more like a puzzle in order to provide lots of nooks and crannies to trap the yeast at the bottom of a fermentation vessel for use in the next brew.

It's made of brown plastic, is designed to hang on a wall, and has a 6 foot electrical cord. It's in excellent condition and I'm thinking of selling it. Can anyone tell me how much it's worth? Also, to whom might I be able to sell such a collectible item? There were no items similar to it being auctioned on eBay. Are there any special web sites designed for selling beer memorabilia?

I came across a few Moerleins Brewing advertising posters and would like to find there value. They carry the Company logo which says "The CHRISTIAN MOERLEINS BREWING CO. CINCINNATI.O." Two are the same and are of a man, possibly Moerleins himself, sitting at a table holding a glass of Moerleins Barbarossa. On the table is a bottle of Barbarossa and Moerleins National export. He has a cigar in his other hand. The other poster is of a man and woman sitting at a table holding a glass of the same two products. The posters are 17" X 24". These posters have been hidden away since at least the 1930's. The colors are bright and give the effect of a light being behind the picture. I found them while removing some prints from some old frames. The back of the posters were used as a filler and placed behind some old prints. They are from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Any Info would be appreciated. They may be for sale in the future. Thanks.

I have a 6' tall fiberglass Rainier Beer bottle that was used in the famous "Raindeer" TV commercials. I have been told by the former Rainier Plant Manager that there were only 6 made. I am interested to know what this thing might be worth. It is in pretty good shape with the bottle top and harness inside the bottle.

Any idea about a Miller Beer bar mirror that has a saying that commemorates the veteran's and was made in 2000? It has a huge Miller logo at thae top with the saying underneath. The mirror is "cut out" around the letters, sorta 3-D like. It measures approx. 3 ft tall, 2 feet wide. I have one and was wanting to know if someone was interested or maybe a price it's worth? Thanks

You found this site..and you have a beer can, sign, tap SOMETHING beer or brewery related you want to know more about.I've been collecting this stuff for 20 some years, and if I don't have something,I often pay too much for it.

Especially for the old, unusual or mint condition stuff.Glasses with frosted or etched detail, tin or glass signs, cans that took an opener to drink out of-one or fifty of them-you get the idea.

If you want to date or find details about your item-I'm an email or call away!
