Budweiser "King of Beers" Light. Measures 72" long x 19" high x 12" deep, has a 3" thick wood base on back, with an acrylic dome front that houses a beautiful full scale model of the Clydesdale team with beer wagon, with two drivers and their Dalmation mascot. The sign has back lighting that shows off the entire model. It is truly a work of art and conversation piece. My late father had it in his bar, and I am selling it for my mother. I have had it appraised at $2500, I am asking best offer and taking bids. We will ship anywhere within the 49 states. You can email me at: mamalucy@adelphia.net,if you are interested I can send you some pictures. Thanks, Mary L. Smith

Hello Fellow Brewmania enthusiasts: I have had an ad prior to this one, Trying to sell an antique Budweiser Light, I had it sold, and then the purchaser turned out to be a fraud, good thing I didn't ship it yet! Teaches me a lesson, I was VERY precautious. Anyways it is up for grabs again, Budweiser sign, wood base, 72" long x 19" tall x 12" deep, has an acyrlic encased full scale model of the clydesdale horses pulling a beer wagon, with 2 drivers and their dalmation mascot to boot. Has a pull chain light on bottom. It is in beautiful condition, it was my late father's pride and joy, and I will guard it with my life, til I get a real true blue honest person to take it off my hands. Beware! If you are interested let me know, I will email you with a picture. I have had it appraised at $2500, In the last ad I had a bid for the following, $1100, $1300, $1500, $2000., $2500, & $2900, If you were one of these, I will try to contact you of it's availability. Thank you for your interest, and be careful out there. Mary L. Smith

I am looking for some information on an embossed beer bottle. The bottle is brown glass, and the only identifying marks on it are Oertels, at the base of the neck on one side, as the body of the bottle starts, and on the other side of the bottle in the same area it says Louisville KY. There is nothing else on the bottle, and nothing on the bottom of it either. I would like to find out about how old this bottle is and about what it would be worth as a collectors item. I am trying to determine the value of a hop certificate which was found in my grandfather's basement along with a number of Red Top items. Was curious if anyone in the know could give me a rough estimate of its value. It is a 1938 dated Czech hop certificate which was associated with a shipment of 15 bales of Saazer hops delivered to the Clyffside Brewery. The certificate is framed with an old caption stating that it was the last shipment of hops from Saazer before the invasion by Germany. I'm not sure if there is a collector market for such a thing but would like to hear any opinions if you have them. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Strykersville, a very rural area in Wyoming Co. New York had a brewery built in 1885. It was the Frank Glaser Brewery, or Strykersville Hotel and Brewery. It burned Aug. 13, 1910, before prohibition. The Town of Sheldon Hist. Soc. is trying to do research on small breweries in that era. There was an underground cellar, we have pictures of oak barrels with a tap. It was a very popular spot, they peddled beer to various towns, some overnight with horse and beer wagen. I would appreciate any help. This was owned by George and Peter Metzger, and Was also the Demonjot brewery in mid 1800's. What ind of eqipment would they have possibly used. And food that would have been served. Mar

Just a reminder that our spring refresh of www.yeoldebrew.com has been completed. On the site you'll find an eclectic mix of vintage advertising with an emphasis on breweriana from pre pro to about the mid 1950s. We specialize in signage – we don’t have much in the way of bottle caps, cans, labels, openers or other small items. And we especially focus on items that tend to be uncommon even leaning towards rare. So if you’re looking for a particular sign, type of sign, brewery or something else, please give us a look. Also, please keep in mind that what you see on the site only represents a fraction of our inventory – so even if you don’t see something but you have a well-defined interest, please share that with us and we’ll be happy to let you know what we might have that might strike your fancy. As always, we’re also happy to answer questions about breweriana or breweries or anything advertising-related as best we can.

I am looking for a Lucky Lager beer ad circa 1943-45 which features a young actress Helen Talbot who later worked with Don "Red" Barry at Republic. She is dressed in cowgirl hat and vest and I think wrist cuffs and is holding up a bottle of LuckY Lager. This was taken by photographer Paul Hesse and was used on many billboards through California. I would be satisfied if I could just find a photo that might have appeared in the newspaper. She is not identified, but was a pretty blonde with a big smile. Any help at all at finding this ad would be appreciated since I have had no luck so far on the Internet.

Information wanted on an Olympia Light Beer Clock...The clock is electric and still works well; has a gold horshoe on left with the words "Good Luck" on the top; the horseshoe surrounds a waterfall scene, that when lighted the waterfall appears to be moving; the background color is a light turquoise, with black plastic top and bottom; bottom frame says "its the water"; made by the Thomas Schulz Company of Illinois. This clock is in great condition, no scratches or cracks.. its actually a pretty cool clock but it doesnt go with my decor... Any idea when this was made or what it's value might be??

I'm looking for a photo or etching of some structures at 10th and Market that were once part of Market Street Brewery . At one time, it would have been the biggest brewery in New Albany, Indiana in the 1880s - Market Street Brewery - so I really think something is out there somewhere. Other names to look for would be National Brewery, Enterprise Brewery, or New Albany Brewing Company. The site ceased to be a brewery in 1890, but was an ice factory (Nevian) for a while after that. Any info would be great.

Hi, I have one unopened bottle to Ballantine Burton Ale. It was brewed on May 12, 1946, bottled in November, 1965. The bottle was personalized for a family friend who I think used to be a salesman for Ballantine. Is there any value other than my own sentimental values for this beer?

You stumbled upon these ads because you have a beer related object that you know nothing about...right?You tell yourself "There HAS to be someone out there that cares about this and would pay me a fair price and display and appreciate my can/sign/tap/bottle/case/etc"

I've been at it almost 30 years, and if I don't have it,I'll pay you a fair (if not "too much")price for it.If I do have it,I know lots of people that might want it.I'm an email or phone call away-ask for Barry the beerguy.

This question is sort of related to beer history. I have in my possession my great grandfathers moonshine still which he used back in the 1930's. It is a cylindrical copper can/drum with a copper cone top that is threaded to allow the attachment of a pipe which connects to the coil (I also have that). The only thing missing is the stone furnace-- although I'm told they used a gas burner and I have that as well. It is hard for me to estimate a value for something like this. The rarity of such an item and the copper/copperwork makes me think it should have some kind of value. Can anyone help me on this question? Thank you for your opinions!

I have a lead crystal bowl with the Stroh's Lion design engraved in the bottom of the bowl. It is sign by the company or artist and numbered. I can't make out the name. Perhaps late 1970's I was given this as a gift from a Stroh's Beer Wholesale Owner in Michigan. Does anyone know anything about this bowl or what the price range might be.

A friend has a large porcelain Budweiser 8 horse hitch with beer wagon that is beautiful. It fills one whole shelf of a china cabinet. Her husband purchased this years ago. I have tried to research it to find out it's value. All the horses are separate figures plus the beer wagon with figures on top. I am guessing the horses measure 9 inches long and the wagon larger. These look like porcelain. I have found a set made by Metlox that is similar. Those were commissioned by Anheuser-Bush Co. exclusively for use as an advertising display piece and as a gift for valued company employees. The set my friend has is much nicer then these even. Does any one know any thing about the history of this beautiful set and it's value?

I have an old Miller High Life Cooler from the 50 's or 60's era. It;s white with the red logo. Beneath the logo it reads: "The champagne of bottled beers" then it reads: Miller Brewing Co Milwaukee Wisc. USA F-405,013. The inside cover says "Quality Cromstons Service". It is in good shape with a couple scratches. It also has an "Alcoa" aluminaum sticker on the inside still in great shape. Any one know what this could be worth? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
