We lost an old Busch lighted beer sign in a fire last year. I think it was from the late 60s or early 70s. The basic design was a ham sitting on a chopping block with some knives hanging off the front of the block (my memory may be a little off). Does anyone know where to locate one of these? Thanks.

I live in Rochester New York and have 3 metal beer coasters from a brewery named Bartholomay that used to be located here. I have only found one reference to this brewery on the web under a beer bottle collector. The bottle is circa 1890. The coasters I have say Bartholomay Beers, Ales & Porter. In Kegs and Bottles Rochester N.Y. I can supply pictures. One coaster is in Very Good condition and the other 2 are missing very small amounts of paint. I'm curious as to what these may be worth or how I could find out more information about them. Any information would be much apprciated. THANK YOU.

I have three Drewrys beer figures, two about 7 inches tall with a mountie and small bottle of beer and one about 11 inches tall with a mountie and a horse (has a place for a full sized bottle, but it is missing), All three appear to be made of plaster. Does anyone have any idea of the age and value of them? Also where can I get a bottle to put in the larger one?

For some unknown reason, we have two sets of Hamm's 100 year (1965) anniversary beer glasses. There are 4 glasses in each set including a Hamm's "Surf Patrol" jacket patch, and a booklet detailing the history of Hamm's. Each set of 4 glasses, booklet, and patch are in the original box and have never been removed. The glasses are 7 inches tall, 2 3/8 inch diameter at the top, and 2 ˝ inch diameter at the bottom. We are trying to lighten our load in anticipation of retirement and want to sell these things if they have any value. Otherwise, they go to the Goodwill. Any thoughts or offers will be appreciated.

I have a "Coors Beer" Juke Box style sign made in 1988 by KCS Industries it measures 31 1/2 inches wide and 48 inches tall. It is made of plastic with 2 florescent tube lights inside. Does anyone know the value of this? I was told there were only 10,000 made.

ood Day; I have come across and old Budweiser sign from the 1960's maybe early 70's. This sign is shaped like a bottle, can be free standing. I would say about 4 ft high, has neon tube light surrounding it and fluorescent light in the middle. It came from a Bar in Nova Scotia, Canada. I do not have a pick right now but can get one. Just wondering an approximate value on this item. I have been told that it is rare and they have not been made for a few years. Looking for someones expertise on this. I have searched the net extensively with no luck.

CASH FOR OLD BEER! Know anyone who used to collect/own a bar? Remodel a room and found some conetopped cans in the drywall? Has a sign or two in their basement? Refer them to the "OLD FOAMS HOME" where we surround elderly beer items in a loving environment, clean em up and display them proudly. So,if you have beer stuff that isn't loved or wanted any longer, the Old Foams Home has some display space to fill and will pay TOO MUCH for stuff we don't have...Thanks!

Vintage Genesee Beer Can. I believe this was the first can Genesee ever made. (1937) Very nice condition. The last time I saw this can in a 10 year old price guide, it listed for $175.00 If you are a serious collector this may be just the can you're looking for. If interested I can send you digital pictures via e-mail. Make me an offer on this rare can. E-mail or call 607)936-2442.

I am hoping to establish a beer bar in two years or so. My plan is to decorate the entire building with signs, lights, advertising, etc. featuring national and regional beers, while featuring as many of these beers in bottles and cans as possible (given what is available through local distributors). Due to fund restrictions, this process is slow going, which is why I don't expect to be up and running until 2004-2005. I am seeking any donations of coasters, labels, signs, etc. that could be used in creating bar and table tops. If you have any doubles of these items, and don't mind dropping 37 cents in postage to get them to me, it would be much appreciated. Also, I'd love to see photos of any similar establishments. Every now and then, I take some time to help people out with their Breweriana questions. I have yet to receive a thank you or a simple acknowledgement of my E-mail. If someone takes the time to help you, thank them. If you question seekers continue to be rude, don't ask for help. Thank you

My father has two gnome figurines that we can find no information on. They stand about a foot high and are pushing a beer barrel with the logo Probst(not Pabst)Supreme Beer. They are very heavy and appear to be made of a hard plaster type substance. The paint is still very bright and, other than being dirty, they are in very good condition. My father's uncle gave them to him at least 20 years ago, maybe more. My father is 65 years old just to give you a round about idea of how old the gnomes may be. We have never even seen a picture of anything similar. Any info would be very appreciated. Thank you.

I have a very old beer pump. Complete with wooden handle for pulling the pint son the bar and the pump part that sits behind the bar. It came out of an old English coaching inn. It was (presumably) made before modern day optics were brought in for dispensing spirits as the very end of the wooden handle unscrews to make a spirit measure. It has been lying around for years so would need a lot or reconditioning. I have some pics. If anyone is interested I can email them. The pump is presently in the west of England but could be shipped anywhere. Please feel free to email.

I have an unopened bottle of RED SEAL Malt Tonic put out by the ENTERPRISE BREWING COMPANY. It dates from the 20's or 30's. It is in mint condition, the label is virtually unfaded. I'm not a beer collector, but a beer lover. This came from the cellar of a Victorian house we used to own. We were told that the owner had a bootlegging business in the cellar. Please make us an offer for the bottle and we will pack it carefully and ship it to the buyer.

I may be crazy, but I am looking for two old calenders that were sponsored, or carried the Budweiser name on them. They are 1984 and 1987. I have personal friends in both of these calenders, and would like to add these calenders to my already large collection. I've checked e-bay and other auction sites with no luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am an oil painter and have a painting of Spuds McKenzie for sale that I did in 1987 or 1988. It is beautifully framed, and I have had many compliments and 'amost buyers'. Spuds is dressed in a colonial vest and jacket, and a bottle of Bud is next to him, but I did not paint the words Budweiser on the bottle, as 'I ain't painting for Bud', and don't need copyright hassles. I originally painted it for a friend who owned a bar, but the bar closed before the painting was completed, so he never found a home there! If you are interested, or know someone who might be, I can arrange to provide a photo and we can discuss a price and shipping. Thanks, Sue email to:spsutter@earthlink.net

Ave. Cadillac 1906-7885. Hope someone can help me figure out about this company. A lady wrote me and told me she had one similar and it came out of an old Stroh's Brewery in Detroit, Michigan. I have a very old electric Schmidts of Philadelphia Advertising Clock, and I'm trying to determine what year the clock is from. It is in the shape of a Keystone (Pa. is known as the keystone state) the case has a hammered metal look, the back is all metal with louvers for heat removal from the two lights inside. The front has a red plastic border that follows the keystone shape that surrounds the circular clock that's in blue and has the "Schmidts of Philadelphia" on it. It was manufactured by "Tel-a-sign". Any Ideas?? Thanks

I have a lithograph from the old Rainier Brewery. It is dated 1893 and it is in 9 to 9+ condition. It says "Malt Rainier..For Mother and Babe" on the top left side of the litho and dated 1893 on the bottom right and has a mother holding her child in her arms..it is beautiful! A friend I got it from took it to the Rainier Brewery a few years back before they had sold and moved, they asked him to donate it to their museum,as they have not seen this one, instead he sold it to me. Does anyone have an idea of it's value?

I have a Stroh Light tap handle that plugs in to light up a number of red lights that surround the Stroh logo on the handle. I have been unable to find any reference for this handle and am assuming it to be rare. The A/C adapter reads part #80764, Property of Stroh Brewery, Detroit, MI 48207. I am trying to discover how rare it is, and assign some value to it. Any opinions e-mailed to me would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm looking for the value of 6 Schmidt (doesn't say Schmidt's, but Schmidt) goblets. Purchased them from the wife of a retired distributor, who said they were given out as a sales promotion in sets of 6 to bars in 1958. I have the set of 6, which are in excellent condition. She said they were called "scoops" and not goblets, as I called them. (They are bowls to hold the beer, on stems.) If interested in them, or could direct me how to find the value, please write. I have a question for Pittsburgh beer scholars. Fort Pitt, Duquesne and Tech are all gone now, right? Does anyone own those names, or the rights to market beer using those names? Or if the companies are out of business, could anyone just use those names? Just curious. Thanks

Hello, I am looking for any breweriana from Meyersdale, PA. Actual items, photocopies, pictures, history, anything. I also am interested in breweriana from MD, WV, DC, and VA. If I do not already have it I may be interested. I hope that someone can help me. Additionally, I am interested in setting up a website on the breweries in the above-mentioned areas. I know very little about this. Is it free? Cheap? Easy? I do not want to spend a lot of money on software for business-style websites. I hope to have the website be something fairly simple and easy to use, both for me and those who visit. Thank you in advance for any help that is passed along. Can anyone give me info as to the value of a 1969 Bud Lighted beer sign? The sign is named "Elongated Parade" and is roughly 6' x 2' and covered by a plastic dome. My call to Anhauser-Bush a few years ago to the Director of Archives gave me the history of the sign but was told their policy was to withhold value info. Would appreciate any help since I have to sell mine. Thank you. irector of

My parents were in the bar business for many years and we have lots of old beer signs, mirrors, ceramic figurines, etc. What I am mostly interested in selling at this point is a Budweiser Clydesdale Carousel (about 24 " in diameter) which hangs from the ceiling and has a motor for rotating it around but the motor doesn't work. Probably could be fixed. Does anyone know what this would be worth? If anyone is also interested in knowing what else we have, please let me know.

Help! I am looking for an antique poster that I saw in a vintage mining town recently (Central City, Colorado). It is an advertising poster for (I think) Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. It was dated January, 1896. It featured five little girls in petticoats holding five kittens. The printing on the poster read, "Compliments of the Season; Garden City, Missoula, Montana; January, 1896." It also featured a small calendar at the bottom of the poster for the entire year of 1896. I would really love to locate a duplicate of this beautiful print for my brother & sister-in-law, who fell in love with it when they say it with me. Thanks for any help!

Hi, can anyone give me info on vintage Anheuser Busch advertisements? They are the size of a postcard, but no space for writing a note, back has photo of the St. Louis, Mo. plant. They seem to touch on Greek myths, among others such as: Mephistopheles, Capuchin, Count De Nevers-"Come fill up to the brim, and let us touch glasses come Sir Raoul andlet us drink Anheuser Beer". These are more about 1902 or so. Thanks!

Hello. I have an original photo of the Miller Lager Beer Co. Rochester N.Y.. The employees are setting in front of the main door. There are 16 employees including the barrel maker holding his wooden mallet and 3 young boys who I am assuming are the owners children. This is a very old photograph and would be of interest to those who collect history of Miller Beer Co. I would like information about where would be the best place to sell such an item and what would be a fair price. I also have a Lemp beer souvenir booklet from around the turn of the century. It includes lots of pictures of the different bars and breweries that they opperated at the time. Thank you.
