I have a 21" Heavy Hudepohl wall plaque. I say Hudepohl pure grain beer and depicts a scene of 4 horse pulling a carriage of riders, through what looks like a farm community. It's old and belonged to my aunt and uncle, there is a chip at the bottom and and a few hairline cracks. It is painted in earthtone colors. Does anyone know if it has value or not, it may be at least 40 years or olders.

Hi, I have a "Monsters of the Midway" Chicago Bears 1985 champions Budweiser tray. Date on tray is actually 1987 (on back). On back is "Greatest Moments in Bears History" On front a HUGE bear holding a football, on the Sears Tower I think. Bear is almost as big as the tower :). Anyone know anything about this tray, can't find info anywhere, valuable or just fun? :)

I have a set of Schultz and Dooley steins that have been in my family for over 25 years if not longer. I'm inquiring as to their possible value. Schultz is marked on the bottom WEBCO MADEINGERMANY it also has a C with a circle around it. Dooley is stamped 0.5l just above and to the left of the handle. The bottom is marked Western Germany. There are no other markings on either that I can see. They are both in excellent condition. Pictures are available if so desired. Any help in determining their value would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently in posession of a six-pack of Ludwig Hudepohl Special Oktoberfest Beer, dated 1983. I would like to know the running price of such an item. I have an original 8 by 10 mirror of the 1876-1877 Anheuser Busch (Original Budweiser) mirror with the girl in the blue dress. I am confident that it is the orginal and not a print because the back is sealed paper with a MADE IN ENGLAND stamp on it. The "A" and "B" of the Anheuser Busch have thin pin stripes in them unlink the reprints. Does anyone know the value of this mirror or a place I can find the value. "THE BACK BAR" exhibit was enjoyed by all who attended the "NEW" Brewery Collectibles Show in Suffern, NY this past October. Twenty-eight very rare and high-quality lighted signs, clocks and neons plus related items were submitted by five prominent collectors from the New England area. Some of the signs and items on display were available for sale or trade. Offered for trade was a Narragansett color motion sign and an Old Reading Gillco cab light. To see photos and news articles about previous exhibits and participants, see ECBA "The Keg" – Spring 2004 issue, page 3; or NABA Journal #124, pg. 7, col. 2; or NABA Journal #125, pg. 6, col. 1; or NABA Journal #126, pg 35. To see photos of the most recent exhibit, email me and I will email them to you. "THE BACK BAR" will be making its fourth semi-annual appearance at the 26th Annual Blue Gray Show in Fredericksburg, VA, February 16th - 19th, 2005. If you want to participate and include items from your collection for sale, trade or display, call me at 718-357-6310 or e-mail me for details. Don't miss it!

Does anyone know how bottled beer was crated in the 1940's? I need to show it in a play and I don't know when they first started making those paper/cardboard containers for 6-pack bottles. When were wooden crates used? In the play some men buy some beer at the local store, so I'm not sure what to get for my props. Saw some old wooden crates on ebay but want to be historically accurate. Thanks so much, Amy

Bear with me because I haven't seen this since I was a little girl, but my Dad was an avid Budweiser collecter, and he had a clock that was lighted and had the clydsedales running across like a field with mountains in the background. I imagined that it was Montana or somewhere like that. I was only 8 when he died, and have no clue what happened, but would love a replica. It was possibly made in the 70s or 80s. He died in 1990, so 80s latest. Thanks.

Hello. I have a collection of the Franklin Mint's tankards (the small versions) of brewerys from around the world. (I don't recall the exact name.) After checking e-Bay and several other sites, I don't seem to find any of them for sale, or how much they may be worth. Where could I find some information on their value? Is a place like e-Bay a good place to sell them? Thanks in advance, enjoy the holidays, and I approve this message!

I've heard from my aunts and uncles and my mother that my great great great grandfather, Jacob Rauch, sold Anheuser-Busch their first Clydesdales and that his name is on a plaque in the stable of the St. Louis brewery's stable. I was wondering if anybody has seen any information on this besides the plaque at the brewery.

It's my understanding that a man in full drag won a Miss Rheingold contest in the 1950's and was then replaced. Of course for those days something like that happening was not covered in any major newspapers and was buried; because I'm unable to find anything about it now. Is there anyone out there that has any details and information about this? I'd like very much, if possible, to find out who won and see if he's interested in his story documented. Thanks so much....if you know go ahead and email me. Thanks again

I recently aquired an Olympia Brewery Print and was hoping to learn more about it. I have scoured the internet, but have not been able to find a similar example. The print is mounted to a wooden type slat frame and states Olympia Brewery over the top, "It's the Water" in the top right and left hand corners and "greetings 1907" in the bottom left handed corner. The center of the print is of a woman in a blue dress holding bouquets of flowers in both of her hands. The image of her is dated 1905, Wolf and Co. Phila. If somone could please tell me anything about the print, I would greatly appreciate it. The print is not square and is an interesting shape. I do not know if it was cut to look the way it does, or if that's the way it was originally made. Thanks for any info, I really appreciate your help.

I found a very old, I think very rare piece of Grain Belt memorabilia at the bowling alley I work at. It is a first aid packet with the Grain Belt logo and what looks like a cartoon of Abbott and Costello, one of which has a bandaged thumb. It still contains the original packaging, although the ointments have dried up. The package is in original condition except it is yellowed with age. I am wondering if anyone knows what this is worth and/or if anyone out there would be interested in purchasing this rare piece of beer memorabilia. Please email me with any info. I might list this item on ebay.

I recently purchased a vintage Old Milwaukee sign which features a trout (or some kind of fish) afixed to the back of a blue metal case resembling a underwater world where the Old Milwaufee bottle and cans are on the lake bed. There is a light behind the fish and to the right hand side, there is a rope which suspends down and seems to be leading to something that was previously there but is now missing. There is a hole with another light bulb but what ever was supposed to go there is missing. Can anyone here tell me what goes there and how I might get the original piece that resides there? Your help would be greatly appreciated! TY

I have a very old Stroh's Beer electric sign and I need some information on it like how much it is worth. The sign is in blue and white it says cold beer on it and between the two words it says Stroh's Beer in red. At the bottom of the sign it says family brewers for more than 200 years in gold. The light still works i think its from between the 60's and 70's but im not sure. Thank You.

Jim Beam 1972 Boot Hill Dodge City, Kansas 1872 Centinnia Bottle. Neat bottle with a Sheriffs Star Badge for the cork top. Front has Boot Hill and the tombstones with the old store front buildings. I have been to Dodge City and this is a good replica. It still has most of the label on the front of the bottle. The back has the information about Dodge City and describes Front Stree with it's buildings and the history of the "Boot Hill Cemetery". Part of the seal is still on the back of the cork top and the bottle. I think this would make a really neat lamp for a collector or just as is for the bottle collector. Selling for $28.00 or make an offer.
